November '11) Richard has been cast in to 2 movies. "7 Lives of Chance" is an independent full length feature movie written and directed by Banks Helfrich. He has also been cast in his 1st major studio full length feature film, " Sunlight Jr." staring Matt Dillon & Naomi Watts directed by Laurie Collyer (Sherry Baby). Both films are filming in Florida this month.
October '11) Richard Paul's improv troupe, OFFSIDES will be presenting monthly shows at Whimpy's Jailhouse, a comedy club in Deland, FL.

February '11) Richard Paul is proud to announce he has been cast in his 1st SAG National Commercial with MasterCard and the PGA. Filming will begin on February 14, Valentines Day.
January '11) Richard Paul has directed his 2nd two-person improvisational show titled "Boot Hill" for "A Night of Longform" for Arts Fest in Orlando, FL
January '11) Richard Paul will be appearing at the Gainesville Improv Festival performing OFFSIDES IMPROV in their original longform piece, "All of Us".
September '10) Richard Paul will be appearing at the Orlando Improv Festival performing with OFFSIDES IMPROV in a original format developed by OFFSIDES's Greg Yates entitled "Fast Fact".
June-July 10') Richard Paul will be appearing with The Wondermakers in 28 schools across Osceola Public Schools in Florida.
May '10) RIchard Paul is excited to be in his 1st SAG Regional Commercial with Verizon Wireless. The commercial was shot in Tampa, FL and slated to air the Florida Gulf coast region. If all goes well, the commercial may go national.
May '10) Richard will appear in the Creative Mind Experiment at The 2010 19th Annual Orlando Fringe takes place May 20th-31st in Loch
Haven Park at the Green Venue Location within Orlando Rep Theatre (812 E. Rollins Street Orlando, FL 32803.) Artists were chosen to develop a performance piece based on a musical track by The Boots entitled 'Sb For Evrysing'. Richard is excited to participate in this creative challenge!
June '10) Richard Paul will be starting Playback Theatre in Orlando, FL hosted at Christ Church Unity Orlando. CCU is lead by the dynamic Rev. Alice Anderson. Playback Theatre is improvisational format that honors personal stories of audience members and PT Players alike.
January '10) Richard Paul is proud to announce the premiere performance of DROLL ACADEMY, a two-man improv comedy duo featuring Dan Collins and Adam Sharf. Richard is acting as director/coach/consultant to DROLL ACADEMY which performs every Wednesday night at Drunken Monkey Cafe in Orlando, FL. DROLL ACADEMY is performing after The SEEMONKEES Comedy Crew (Richard occasionally consults for this troupe as well) at 8:30PM. Admission is free! Currently, Richard is acting as a consultant to improvisational troupes throughout the Central Florida area. Coaching, directing, consulting are new concept positions that Richard seeks to create as an improvisational community to emerges within Central Florida. Currently Richard stars in several independent film projects through the months of August/September. One project is a pilot for a spoof on paranormal reality shows ala la Ghost Hunters titled Paranormal Society. In Paranormal Society, Richard plays a flamboyant, over-sexed, psychic medium named Biff. The other filming is a student film project with Full Sail University in Orlando, FL.

Richard Paul improvises theater with SAK Comedy Lab in Downtown Orlando, FL for the past 14 years. SAK Comedy Lab has won many awards for their live, improvised, comedic shows and featured in publications like Orlando Sentinel and the New York Times. When he is not performing on the SAK stage, he instructs regularly for SAK teaching various levels of improvisational acting from beginner to advanced. July '09) Richard will be facilitating an improvisational summer camp for The Garden Theatre titled Think Fast! The workshop will conclude with a performance by the students. Think Fast! will run from July 13-July 17 at the Garden Theatre located in historic downtown Winter Garden, FL.

I will be hosting the talk show as we discuss the "science, magic, and buisness of improv, comedy, and theater".
