Thank you to everyone who supported my talk show, LAUGH! that played @ SAK Comedy Lab in Orlando, FL this past Monday. I am an actor/improviser from Orlando, FL. I actually reside in Windermere, just outside of Orlando however still close to it all. I work at Walt Disney World and SAK Comedy Lab full-time as a performer. I also collaborate with Offsides Improv Troupe, an entertainment group specializing in improvisational/sketch comedy. My day gig is at Walt Disney World where I perform in a dinner show titled The Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show @ Disney's Polynesian Resort. I enjoy cooking, having a clean home (when that happens), and socializing with fun people.
Among other subjects that I will blog about, none is more passionate for me than improvisational theatre. Improv allows me to give others a great time. As I mature in this art, I realize how much more important it is to take care of yourself and giving and allowing your scene partners the best experience. If you make it about audience and your scene partners, you become less self-conscious and you enter a realm where you simply live in an effortless state of play. Joy! Bliss! Laughs! Relatable! Honest! Heart! Human! Connection to something deeper...that's what improv does for me.
